On Wednesday 16th October, Year 5 pupils from St. Mary's P.S. and Cumber Claudy P.S. became CSI detectives. They had to solve a crime using evidence. Firstly, they examined fingerprints and learnt about the three different types: whorl, loop and arch. Next, they examined an eye witness statement and matched to the suspects' looks. Finally, they used chromatography to find out which pen belonged to the criminal. With this final piece of evidence, they solved the crime and they had lots of fun as well! A special thank you to Cara's Mum, Monica, who was a great helper today!
