Our boys and girls in Year 4 spent a wonderful day together with the children from St. Canice’s, Feeny and St, Peter’s and St. Paul’s, Foreglen during the Banagher Parish First Holy Communion retreat on Monday. There were lots of fun activities which helped the children greatly in their preparation for receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Everyone was treated to a lovely lunch. The day was filled with fun, laughter, prayer and thanksgiving, finished off with the opportunity for the boys and girls to go to confession again. Thankyou to Charlotte for organising the day and her dedication to the children. Thankyou also to Fr. McGirr for his continued support throughout the school. We are all looking forward, with great excitement, to our First Holy Communion day.
