So much excitement for World Book Day as a sea of characters entered St Mary's on Thursday morning! Massive efforts from both children and families and a fun way to bring books to life. Great activities took place in classrooms, from story sharing, scavenger hunts, drama sessions, virtual author visits and writing further extracts from famous books. Lots of fun opportunities to learn and extend. A special word of thanks to Mrs McAleer who featured on the Mark Patterson radio show to talk about World Book Day! Pupils and staff were very proud of her!!
