Return to School for P4-7 pupils

17th Mar 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are delighted to confirm that Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 pupils can return to school for face-to-face teaching from Monday 22nd March.

This is very exciting news and we are delighted that we can get things back to normal!

We have really missed all our pupils!!

As before, pupils must not attend school if they have any symptoms of coronavirus and social distancing must be observed where possible. Pupils will remain in class bubbles with staggered break and lunchtimes.

Pupils should not arrive at school before 8.45am. When they arrive, they must go straight to class. Parents can collect P1 and 2 pupils at 2pm and P4-7 pupils can be collected at 2.45pm (at the small playground gate). Social distancing must be adhered to when collecting pupils. All buses will operate as normal.

Canteen facilities and school milk will be available as usual. Pupils should continue to wear PE gear on PE days and school uniform on the other days. We continue to strongly encourage plastic bags for belongings to reduce risk of transmission from home to school.

Please remember to bring ALL reading books that were sent home during lockdown back into school on Monday (if they haven't already been returned). We depend on these for our reading groups. We also ask that pupils bring in current workpacks that haven't yet been completed as these will be used in class next week (with lots of opportunities for some fun as well)!

Thank you once again for your amazing commitment to home learning. You have done an incredible job!

Our school focus will be firmly on the emotional health and well being of pupils on their return.

Looking forward to Monday!!

Mrs Redmond x
