Primary 5 had a fantastic trip to Butterlope farm today. Pupils enjoyed learning all about growing vegetables and looking after hens, sheep and calves. They also learnt how to make hay stacks and used a key and a magnifying glass to identify mini beasts in water samples. They even planted garlic and are looking forward to harvesting it in June. A huge thank you to Annie and Vincent Mullan from Butterlope Farm for organising this amazing trip!!
