Our P7 pupils had a wonderful and very memorable day today in Celtic Park at the annual Fan the Flame Mass for all of the pupils in the Derry Diocese who made their Confirmation this year. The Mass on the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ was beautifully celebrated by Bishop McKeown. The children listened very carefully to Bishop McKeown’s inspiring homily and they showed great reverence throughout the mass. There was a fun and lively atmosphere and the boys and girls were fantastic at joining in with the singing and cheering.
The day was finished off with a lovely lunch from Bridies on the way home. Thank you very much to Father McGirr for his generous and kind gesture.
