Our Virtual Sports Day is taking place on Friday 12th June!

2nd Jun 2020

As our School Sports Day was set for Friday 12th June, we are holding a Virtual Sports Day on that date and we really hope that all pupils will get involved. We are using the Healthy-Kidz Virtual Sports Day app to run this event. In order to take part, registration to the Healthy-Kidz Sports Day is required . Many pupils have already registered, and those who have not, can register by clicking on the following link https://healthy-kidz.com/

The four events that the pupils will take part in on our Sports Day are: sprint; egg and spoon race; welly throw and the long jump.

Details about the rules for each of the four events can be found in the following link: https://indd.adobe.com/view/386cf9a8-f43a-4376-a0f2-40e08cd8f2b5?fbclid=IwAR1lLssRtYXYdE98FHYAWw8aKh2iNdK72RUQCUtGPUDTbxdVoOuGStEfzS8

In the interest of fair competition, we request that the measurement guidelines set in the booklet are followed closely and that results are recorded accurately.

We encourage pupils to practise the activities in the lead up to the Sports Day. The pupils will then take part in the events on Friday 12th June and an adult should record the results on the app. Please note that only results recorded on the app will be accepted.

Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd  place in each class for each of the four events and these medals will be distributed at a later date.

There are lots of other Health and Well Being activities for the pupils to take part in and we encourage you to record daily results on those, as results are very close at the top of the school leader board.

We hope that all of our pupils will enjoy practising and taking part in our Virtual School Sports Day. Please take some photos of the children taking part and details of where to email the photos will follow.
