Our P3 pupils marked the feast of St. Brigid today with a fantastic assembly celebrating her life and work. During this week, the boys and girls have been learning all about her life through making St. Brigid’s crosses, saying prayers, songs, art and drama. Today they portrayed the story and traditions of St. Brigid with confidence and reverence. Thank you to Fr. McGirr who came to our school and blessed the crosses which had been made in all classes. Each family in our school was given a blessed St. Brigid’s cross to put in a special place in their home.
