Last week, we had fantastic fun in our Literacy Week, when we improved our talking, listening, reading and writing skills while also having lots of fun!!
All classes listened to stories told by renowned story-teller, Liz Weir and enjoyed drama lessons with Erin McReynolds where the children created soundscapes and enjoyed improvisation. Pupils wrote stories about strange and unusual objects and bought books from the Book Fair. Teachers swapped classes to share their favourite stories, which everyone really enjoyed! Grandparents of our Primary One pupils came to read stories to Primary One and P1 also had a visit from Peter Rabbit which was very exciting!
