Internet Safety Day 2021

9th Feb 2021

On Tuesday 9th February, pupils in all classes enjoyed taking part in a wide range of Internet Safety lessons during their remote learning. This year's theme was 'An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world'. This was a very interesting theme, as it encouraged the pupils to think carefully about what information they should and shouldn't trust when online. They were also reminded of important strategies that they can use if they see anything online that makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Please have a look at the wonderful Internet Safety Posters produced by some of our pupils to read their important messages about how to stay safe online.

Some useful Internet Safety websites for parents to visit are:

CyberPal are also running a free parent information workshop on Thursday 11th February at 7pm about the importance of internet safety. Their sessions in school have always been excellent. Please visit their Facebook page for details on how to register. We strongly recommend that you attend.
