Today children from Park and Straidarran playgroup came to visit their new school and Mrs McKenna. It was a joy to welcome our new intake to St.Mary’s PS. Children had great fun playing outdoors and some familiar faces came to say hello! They had snack in the primary one classroom, completed some fine motor activities and listened to a story read by Mrs McKenna. Mrs McKenna was so impressed by their sitting and listening. The children gave Mrs McKenna a sneak peek of the songs they will sing at their play school graduation. Mums and dads are in for a treat. We cannot wait to have these children back for a walk through with their parents.
An induction talk for parents is on Wednesday night, 4th June at 7pm, in the school assembly hall.
