A massive congratulations to our four P7 girls on winning first place in the Derry and Strabane heat of the Road Safety Quiz in the Guildhall today. Seventeen teams in total took part and the quiz was highly competitive.
The end of the quiz was very tense, with it going to tie-break questions between ourselves and Steelstown for first place. The girls have been working extremely hard since November on their learning of the highway code. Their great enthusiasm and dedication was definitely rewarded today and they were very deserved of this accolade.
The girls arrived back to school to rapturous applause from pupils and staff, they were definitely our superheroes today!
They will now progress to the NI Road Safety Quiz Final on 9th March in the Glenavon Hotel Cookstown.
