Bronagh from the Woodlands Trust visited Year 6 today and together she and the pupils looked at conditions for growth, linking with our topic, “To Infinity and Beyond.” We considered how plants could be grown in space and experimented by attempting to grow plants without soil. They also looked at the process of photosynthesis. As usual Bronagh was a mine of information and ensured everyone was hands on in the planting process. Another great day for outdoor learning.
