Children's Mental Health Week
2nd Feb 2026
For Children's Mental Health Week, we have lots of fun things planned!
Enjoy Children's Mental Health Week everyone!!!
- All classes will participate in Nurture lessons.
- On Tuesday 3rd Feb which is Safer Internet Day, pupils will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of using AI
- On Wednesday, our school council have organised 'Break a Rule' Day. Pupils can break any rule, as long as it doesn't break our school motto 'Treat others as you would like to be treated.' Pupils can have crazy hair, wear their pyjamas or own clothes to school or have an extra treat for break or in their lunchboxes. (Some rules cannot be broken eg no nuts, no chewing gum and no phones!) Pupils will also have no homework that day!
- Thursday is 'Time to Talk' day and both pupils and staff will have an extended breaktime so that we can talk to each other.
- The week finishes with our Valentine's disco on Friday afternoon, run by our PTA. DJ John will be there and there will be a tuck shop. Entry costs £1. P1-3- 1.10-1.50pm. P4-7- 2-2.50pm.
