Community First Responder Session with our P7 pupils
Aiden, our local First Responder, visited our school today to deliver a very important workshop to our P7 pupils. During the session the pupils learned about the valuable work that our First Responders do in the local community. They also learned about the signs to look out for if someone is having a heart attack and the procedures to do to help. They completed the session by performing chest compressions on the first aid mannequins. Well done to all of the boys and girls for asking very focused questions during the session and for showing great interest and enthusiasm. They have learned very important life saving skills which they would be able to put into action in the future if the need arises. Thank you very much to Aiden for taking the time to come out to teach our P7 children today.
